Restaurant / Historical building
Manuc’s Inn is one of the few inns that were kept in Bucharest in their original form. Here it is, since 1808. It is the newest old restaurant in all Bucharest, the last traditional inn from Europe surviving our days. The restaurant is a unique fusion of traditional and modern, both in architecture and gastronomy. Rich and polyvalent, suitable for any event, Hanu’ lui Manuc Restaurant offers its guests unique spaces: the garden, the porch, the lounge upstairs and the wine cellar.
Entry into Hanu' lui Manuc Restaurant is through the left side of the inn's courtyard.
The Inn is named after a rich Armenian merchant, Manuc. We will tell you a little secret: his real name was Emanuel Mirzain. The place was different, as architectural style and it is different in the present from the other inn-fortresses especially for the beautiful verandas. If you enter through the back, you will find a spectacular interior yard. In the summer, it is used as a terrace by the restaurant from inside the inn.
