West meets East returns on Romanian scenes with a new project designed to connect the West and the Orient through music, in the spirit of the vision born more than half a century ago, from the collaboration of the two sacred monsters of music: violinist Yehudi Menuhin and sitarist Ravi Shankar. At the second edition in Romania, the West meets East - The Continuous Story proposes a unique encounter between the Romanian and Classical Music of India, in the performance of Alexandru Tomescu - violin, Udhai Mazumdar, Sînziana Mircea - piano, Rohan Dasgupta - at sitar and Bhaskar Das - on bans (bamboo flute).
